History

Organization

Prior to December 1968, Colorado and Wyoming were Section 6. The 1968 National Convention established the Fraternity's initial 10 regions. At this time, Colorado became part of Region VIII and Wyoming part of Region IX. It's believed this is when Colorado become Section 30. In 1978 Wyoming became part of Region VIII and again joined with Colorado to become part of Section 30. In 2018 Alpha Phi Omega again realigned its regional and sectional structure. What was known as Section 30 became Section C-1.
